CheckAI helps teachers upload student work, receive AI draft analysis, and deliver clearer feedback. By using the service, you agree to this policy.

Data you provide

  • Account data: name, email address, and protected authentication credentials.
  • Google sign-in data: name, email, and basic profile information when Google OAuth is used.
  • Educational content: uploaded photos, files, text answers, assignment titles, and related comments.
  • Communications: support requests and any direct messages you send through available product features.

Data collected automatically

  • Technical information about sessions, devices, and browsers.
  • Operational logs and product events needed for authentication, security, and diagnostics.
  • Status data about uploads, reviews, and related workflow activity inside the service.

  • To receive, organize, and process educational materials inside the service.
  • To generate draft AI analysis, scores, and suggested feedback.
  • To support product operations, reliability, abuse prevention, and service notifications.

4. AI processing

When a teacher submits work for review, related materials may be processed through AI infrastructure in order to generate draft analysis and feedback.

  • AI review is assistive and does not replace teacher judgment.
  • Teachers can modify, refine, or reject the AI draft before finalizing results.
  • CheckAI does not use uploaded student work to train its own proprietary AI models.
  • External AI processing is subject to applicable provider terms. CheckAI currently uses Google Cloud infrastructure for AI-assisted processing and related computation.

5. Service providers

We may share data with infrastructure, authentication, email, and AI providers only to the extent necessary to operate the service.

  • Internal access is limited to personnel or contractors who need it to support the product.
  • If Google sign-in is used, relevant account data is processed through Google OAuth.
  • We do not sell personal data or provide it for ad-tech resale.

  • Connections to the service are protected with HTTPS/TLS.
  • Access to service data is limited according to roles and internal permissions.
  • We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to reduce unauthorized access, alteration, or loss.

No internet transmission or storage system is absolutely secure, but we apply reasonable efforts to protect data handled by the service.

7. Retention and deletion

  • Account data and educational materials are retained for as long as needed to operate the service and support legitimate educational workflows.
  • When deletion is requested, data is removed or anonymized within a reasonable period unless longer retention is legally required.
